Después de enamorarme de Illuminae este verano al fin compré su continuación llamada Gemina y en cuanto cayó en mis manos la leí. Esta posee la misma intrigante y refrescante presentación de la historia a través de e-mails, archivos secretos, chats, etc...

La historia continua justo donde nos dejó Illuminae, donde Kady y Ezra sobrevivieron a la inteligencia artificial AIDAN y a los ataques de Beitech. En esta nueva novela tenemos nuevos protagonistas que se encuentran en la estación Heimdall a donde se dirige el Hypatia con noticias sobre el ataque en Kerenza, estos son Hanna, la hija del capitán de la estación y Nik, miembro de una conocida familia criminal. Estos jóvenes están conectados por una droga que Nik vende y Hanna compra, más adelante sabremos más sobre el origen de esta y como es relevante en la historia, ya que la estación Heimdall no solo será objeto de ataques de Beitech sino que sufre de algo más peligroso, un invasión alienigena. 

Desde el comienzo se nos da a conocer que Nik está enamorado o colgado al menos de Hanna y cuanto más vamos conociendo de este personaje más me iba gustando, ya que es muy dulce. Y Hanna nos demuestra que no es una simple hija de capitán perteneciente a la élite sino que sabe luchar ya que su padre le enseñó tácticas y demás. 

Hacia el final ya se unen ambas novelas y por lo tanto todos sus personajes tras sufrir de esos giros vertiginosos que ya conocíamos del primero como cuando nos hicieron creer que habíamos perdido a Ezra, lo cual me encanta. Esos giros son muy interesantes y aunque creas que sabes como terminará finalmente solo probará que estas equivocado y te sorprenderá mucho. 

Por lo que para terminar sin contar nada más ya que lo suyo es descubrir qué sucederá, os recomiendo firmemente estas maravillosas novelas. Yo mientras tanto tendré que esperar a que salga una tercera parte a saberse cuando, pero hay miles de libros esperando a ser descubiertos.
